I lived at Mullin s N Frances complex and it was horrible. I would come home from class everyday to an extremely loud neighbor and when I complained to the landlord it seemed like they did nothing about it. This neighbor constantly felt the need to play his music so loud at 2 in the morning that my walls would shake. Next, the building has a bug problem. There are ants EVERYWHERE! They were basically on every wall of the apartment and no matter what I tried to do they would not go away. Even worse the apartment had a roach problem, mostly in the kitchen, but sometimes I would find some in the bedroom. At one point the roaches got so bad that I seen about four a day. It took me about a month of calling constantly until Mullins actually did anything about it, and when they did I was disappointed. Mullins called in a professional pest controller, but the guy that came to fix the problem used something I could have gotten at Wal-mart to kill roaches. Needless to say this did not fix the problem. Besides the pests and noise, the building was in really bad shape. In the bathrooms the ceiling was pealing off, which I m guessing came from the upstairs neighbors leaky toilet. Also, the walls are so thin that I can hear my neighbor watching TV. I m glad that I finally got out of that slum! However, I had a hard time moving back home because the roaches and ants have crawled into my appliances. It took many hours and about $100 to get electrical cleaning supplies and to open up my all of my appliances in fear that I would bring them into my own house. I would advise staying away from this property unless you like to share the rent with a few unwanted roommates.
