Park Tower tower is a decent place to live if you're a student, particularly if you're a graduate student who doesn't want to live too close to campus. Buses are frequent, but crowded at peak times of day. There are no major problems with the apartment or community. The building has a lot of smokers, and exhaust fans do not run, so expect smoke in your apartment and when entering the building. Maintenance is adequate but nothing special. Wall to wall windows make the apartment very bright (especially the south side), but impossible to keep cool in summer, even with A/C running. My biggest disappointment is with the office staff. They're friendly (at least to your face), but the official hours are 9-5 most days or worse, and they're often missing during posted hours (almost never seen anyone stay past 4:30). Expect missed packages, and to take off from work if you want to talk to someone.

I liked living here, but I do not like the staff in the office. They are very often not in the office during posted hours, and packages are either not delivered (because the office wasn't open when the delivery person was there) or else you have no access to them, because the office is closed. Maintenance, however, is great, and you will almost certainly have someone over to fix a problem quickly. The rooms have lots of windows, and if you are on the south side of the building (rooms with even numbers), you will get lots of light and a nice view. My apartment had a dishwasher, which I appreciated. Laundry room is good. Pool is good. Really, my only problem is with the staff in the office. I do not think they are honest, and I will often call the company to answer a question I have and skip asking people in the office altogether.
