These apartments were recently sold to a company based in Chicago, however there is still a local office in the apartment. The new owners are horrible. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone at the local office. I left several messages and they were never returned. It wasn't until I threatened to call the corporate office did I get a response. When I asked why no one returned my calls they said that two different people check the messages and one of them must have forgotten to notify the other. I have also noticed that the common areas are not cared for as well as they used to be. Needless to say, I'm relieved to be done with them.

While the area seems to be becoming more diverse, I haven't had any problems with the neighborhood. My neighbors were extremely quiet. I rarely heard or saw them. If you get an apartment on the backside of the 2234 building, your balcony will have a beautiful view of the backyard, which has a very pretty woods behind it. In my opinion it is the best part of living at these apartments.
