This property has really gone downhill since the company based out of Chicago bought it 12/2007. Their is no onsite management now and the people in Chicago could care less! If you need maintenance, good luck! The guys they have doing this don't know what they are doing that eventually they have to call in professionals. The interior/exterior of the property has really deteriorated...common areas aren't cleaned, underground garage hasn't been cleaned in a year, the property hasn't been landscaped since they bought and there are leaks in units that have led to mold outbreaks, just to name a few. If they do need to do something in your unit, they don't give you the proper notice and just enter your unit which they just did recently when installing the new smoke alarms under the new ordinance. Also, they don't screen new tenants and have been renting to a bunch of "hoodlums". I wondered how they could afford the rents and found the management co. cut the security dep. in half and lowered rents. Their have been break-ins, known drug activity on the property and the police calls to the properties have increased three-fold since they tookover. They are relying on the City of Madison police dept. to manage the property. This used to be a nice, quiet property; but I'm out soon!!!
