I loved this neighborhood - close enough to campus without too many noisy undergrads, LOTS of buslines go by, walking distance to Hilldale, the back of the complex opens out onto a park, and the surrounding residential neighborhoods are nice and quiet and good for jogging around when the weather's nice.

The management and maintenance staff are great. Any work needed got done within 24 hours; the few times it took longer they left me notes explaining what the delay was. The apt. manager is very friendly but can be a little flaky (e.g. doesn't keep strict business hours). It helps to call ahead and make an appointment with him

One bedroom apartments are pretty pricey, but you're paying for the great location, plus they offer free cable and high-speed wireless internet. If price is an issue I'd recommend getting a roommate.
