This place is an absolute dump... I completely agree with the review before mine. We have neighbors in our building that drink every single night of the week-- on their porch, and they have tons of people over all of the time. Two months after moving in, my car windshield was broken with a beer bottle after one of their parties.

The almost nightly parties that our neighbors have are completely out of hand-- I've seen them (drunkenly) climb up to the balcony above theirs to harass the girls that live upstairs. Also, vomit has become very common lawn decoration. Just great.

When we first moved in (in the middle of the summer), our air conditioner wasn't working properly (because it's 100 years old). We went to the management 4 times about it-- they still did nothing about it all summer. The last time we complained, they promised to replace the A/C in April... well, it's April 27th, and we've heard nothing about it. Not that I'm surprised.

I can hear everything that my downstairs neighbor does... which includes constantly screaming at the top of her lungs at her 8 year old daughter, getting into screaming matches (almost nightly) with her boyfriend(s), and having her loud w.t. friends over.

The apartment itself is mediocre, in my opinion. The size of the apartment is nice, but definitely not worth living in the neighborhood.

The kitchen design is horrible, and the appliances are OLD! Also, they say that they pay for water... Every time I've ever rented, if the landlord says they pay for water, that means "hot water". At Stonewood, your water heater is in your apartment-- which means you pay to heat the water. Also, the water heaters have one of the lowest energy efficiency rates-- so you're paying more because they refuse to upgrade.

There is a lot of parking available, but the few times that it snowed the past winter, the plows were not out within even 24 hours. Also, the apartments are set up like townhomes (with your own private entrance)-- when the management finally shoveled the walks, snow was pushed in front of the apartment doors (this happened to everyone in our building-more than once).

Stonewood is absolutely awful. Please take my advice & don't live here!!! I'm counting the days until my lease is up. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS

If people have so many problems with their maintenance/management not doing any repairs, ever thought of calling the BUILDING INSPECTOR???!!!
