I just finished my two year stay at Stonewood Village and found it rather enjoyable. I am not moving to another complex; rather, renting from Stonewood allowed me to save some money and now I have bought a house. I had a very nice and clean apartment with all new appliances. I found the management easy to work with and extremely friendly. Anytime I called the office with maintenance that needed to be done, it was done on the same day that I called; talk about prompt. I did notice that it did get a little noisy on weekends, but I expected a little noise seeing that my building was one of 17 (I think) total buildings. Also, given that it is one of the least expensive apartment complexes in the area, you are going to get all types of people living there and, for the number of tenants and diversity of tenants, I think Stonewood did a good job of keeping a good image along with a safe neighborhood. The grounds were also very well kept up which made the apartments look really nice on the outside also. Overall, I had a very good experience living at Stonewood Village.

There are a few things; however, that I think could use some work. The parking lot REALLY needs to be repaved. I think it really did a number on my car. Also, in the winter, the grounds crew needs to work on clearing the parking lot a little better and quicker and also ridding the sidewalks of ice and snow. The only other thing I found to be a SMALL downfall is that my electric and gas bill was always really high for such a small place. I really think that the windows and water heater could both use some updates. Not only is the water heater not very efficient, but we were also only able to get one hot shower out of it and then we would have to wait for it to reheat.

I would; however, strongly recommend Stonewood Village Apartments. I had a very good experience there the past two years and think that you will too. It is very affordable and has the things that many look for when searching for an apartment; a/c, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and LOTS of closet space.
