I'm not going to lie, this place does have a few good things going for it. The parking is abundant, the apartments are semi-spacious and having your own washer/dryer is alright too. However, there are some negatives in my experience with Stonewood.

First off, the people are just plain nosey. I have a first floor apartment near the parking lot and every single person that walks by feels the need to look directly at me while I'm in my living room. I feel like I can't even keep my blinds open. I understand curiosity and how children work, but these are adults who do it EVERY DAY! I feel like they're planning to steal my things.

Next, there are too many kids and too many delinquent parents who don't care enough to watch them. I've had kids shot their water pistols at me when I get home from working a professional job. I've also had kids come up to my bedroom windows and try to smack my cat. Hello people' Get a leash for your mutants!

Management keeps the place pretty clean, and I can't complain about their response to my repair needs. I think they could stand to lower the price (and they're expectations). The rigorous approval process to rent is a joke. Considering what I've seen from many of the other residents, I doubt there's any review at all. It's not a matter of race, class or age, just a matter of respect, and some of these tennants don't know what that word means. I feel like I'm living in the Detroit of Madison.

This is an honest response, if management can't keep control this is not the type of place I'm looking for. Everyone should be respected and everyone should feel safe and comfortable. Nitpicking? I would say not what happened to respect?
