The maintenance was off and on. When maintenance came to look at our washer, they commented on how our house smelled of gas, but did NOTHING. Later WE call MG&E and they reported that there was indeed a gas leak and if we had lighted a match down stairs, there would be problems. To say the least, there maintenance men are unreliable. The security deposit return was late and a SHOCK. They charged $115 to fix a sink and took money out for water for April-August, which would have been fine if we had known. We have to pay for summer subletters water. It is NOT a place to live.

To whom it may concern- We rent to approximately 600 UW students a year and do a ton of renting by word of mouth. In fact we rent many places each year with out even showing them. I feel we have a very good reputation on campus and we do hear about it quite often through e-mails, calls and notes that come in to the office. We have several people who stay from year to year and several more that move from one of our places to another place we own. I am NOT SAYING WE ARE PERFECT but we do strive hard to take care of our tenants and treat them like paying customers who deserve to get what they pay for. Who is more likely to post on apartmentratings.com? The few that have had a bad experience or the large majority that had a good experience? How the person can remain anonymous is an issue. It makes it a lot easier for a 1 sided story, or a competitor to post a bad review of us.- Thanks for your time-- - ----Tallard Apartments LLC
