I lived at Ridgewood while I was a graduate student at UW-Madison. Ridgewood was poorly managed then, and this trend continues. I had mice in my apartment. To solve the mouse problem, I took a freshly killed mouse that my cat so kindly provided to me, put it in a zip-lock bag and took it over to the office. I produced it right in front of a prospective tennent, and the person behind the desk nearly fainted. The exercise room was terrible too. They remodeled it, and withing 3 months, it was in worse shape and someone stole one of the tv's. Hopefully Fitchburg bulldozes Ridgewood and puts in something worthwhile.

My boyfriend and I recently moved to Wisconsin and have been apartment hunting. We saw an add for Ridgewood and the add made them sound like it was the greatest apartments in Madison. I found this website because at my job I was asking about Ridgewood and everyone--even one of my friends who lives close to Allied said NO! We had called Ridgewood earlier in the week before we even knew anything about the place and were supposed to be there yesterday for an appointment. Well, we never went because of all the bad things we heard from co-workers and everyone in between.I read every single review on this site and none of them suggest living at Ridgewood!

If the first person who posted this has not lived there since 2001 why are you bashing now? Four years later. Is it because you live in the past and can not see the future? Or is it you just wanted to see some of your crap in print. All this crap about a mouse! ! ! Grow up There are more mice in this world than humans. There are stores that sell mice traps.

To the person that responded to this and did not show up for your showing, you missed out on a good thing. First Ridgewood is not even close to Allied Drive. So your Friend does not know what they are talking about. In April the courts got rid of the old management company and now it is managed by Fidiciary Real Estate Development. They have spared NO EXPENCE to get this place turned around. You should have talked to some of the tennants that are still living here and then made an edcuated choice

I'm sorry but I trust the people I work with and know and also my gut instinct. If Ridgewood is not bad, then why are they all over the news? I know its not close to Allied Drive, I was saying it is worse.. and I have talked to a few tenants that have lived there that I work with thank you very much. My opinion and you can't change it
