All of the negative things people said here are really true. I lived here for a while recently. The building itself is fine but the management are unbelievably rude and vindictive and the apartments are seriously overpriced (I got a cheap sublet, fortunately). If you are even the slightest bit late (and sometimes even if you're not) on the rent they will, unlike most places, affix an eviction notice to your door promptly. They threatened to sue me once when my roommate was a day or two late in paying his 1/2 of the rent.

And they are CONSTANTLY entering your apartment for ridiculous reasons and forcing you to clean this, move that, etc. so that they can "inspect" the place. It's f***ing unbelievable. No other apartment I've lived in here in Madison is even remotely like this.

Do not, for any reason, ever, ever rent from Goldleaf. If there is anywhere else on earth you can go, definitely do it. These people are absolute scum. They are litigious, stupid, and rude. Run!

Oh and there was a jack hammer at 6am on many occassions, doing work on the "courtyard."
