I initially was excited to move into this apartment complex as it was brand new construction and I was the first to live in my apartment. However, it became clear very quickly that a lot of corners were cut in the construction and cheap materials were often used. Noise of neighbors was often a problem and they were also very destructive and messy in common areas. My biggest problem though was dealing with the management. They were generally very rude and did not address the few concerns we had. For the amount you pay, this is not a good deal. I know that there are several poor property management companies in Madison, and Goldleaf is not the worst, but my main reason for moving was that I felt the Goldleaf staff to be incredibly disrespectful and uninterested in helping with any concerns that their tenants had.
