*office staff was very unprofessional in dealing with legal matters regarding my roommate and me (neglected to return my phone calls, emails, explain my rights, etc.)
*maintenance emergencies (water POURING out of our bathroom celing vent) took an hour to respond
*parking was extremely expensive and limited
*university ave tended to be noisy at night and cars, buses, drunks could be heard clearly through our windows (not to mention how cold our apt was due to the cheap windows)
*rent was too high, considering the space we had, but the appliances and kitchen cupboards were nice

*building was considerably safe, except the garage door that never shut tight
*location was much better (quieter, safer) than being right down town
