I have lived in Appleton Place Apartments for nearly a year now, and will not be returning for a second year. The apartments are overpriced and have a lot of cheap fixtures. The is a single register for heat, which increases heating bills greatly. Also, even though the building is just 3 years old, the roof leaks!! We reported it to management and they came and looked at it and said it was fixed. But two months later, with a light rain shower, it leaked again...all throughout my closet in the bedroom. Also, the washer and dryer is extremely cheap (it takes 3 cycles to dry 4 t-shirts) and it has yet to be addressed. Furthermore, the management has lost rent checks and other important paperwork, creating a huge hassle for me. If you're looking to spend $860 a month, don't blow it at this place!!!
