low security deposit, pet friendly apartment (cats & dogs accepted, with only $10/mo. pet fee), HEATED underground parking ($20/mo), smart-card laundry instead of coin based, extra storage (4' wide x 6' deep x 8' tall), dishwasher, huge balcony/patio, but that's not all...each building is subdivided into 3 main entrances (front & back), with each section having 4 units on lower level and 4 units on upper level. In short, this means you don't have to worry about walking down long hallways to get to your apartment and it's much better than being in a building with almost 100 units and 3 stories (which I used to). My particular unit is unique in the sense that I'm not only next to an entrance-way sidewalk, but there's a sidewalk just inches from my patio as well. This means there's constant foot traffic to/from entrance doors on BOTH sides of me, extra noise from people chatting noise from the tennis courts (kids scream & yell a lot). I've also been woken up by the snowblower in the winter, which comes around before 6am sometimes! Speaking of which, unless you don't care that you'll be shoveling your patio PLUS the sidewalk (because of the snowblower), I'd avoid my unit. The heated garage is very nice, but my next door neighbord likes to "rev/beef" up his engine and do work on it (even though it's not allowed), which I can hear from my first-floor apartment, 'specially if he cranks up the bass yet besides. There is ample outside parking although it is not well-lit...you need to be careful less you end up running someone over, because they're very hard to see. Management is AWESOME, friendly, willing to go out of their way for you, and a quick turn-around as well. Furthermore, they actually replace/fix/upgrade apartments on a regular basis, unlike some landlords who want to squeeze every penny out of you, with no regards to the condition of the place. When I moved in, they had just replaced the carpet, counter tops, entire tub/shower, patio door, and installed a newer high efficiency wall A/C. Definitely recommend.
