I liked it when I was there.. and I'm a picky person.

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2005
I actually lived in Quail Run for 3 years but since they don't have a place to do feedback, I'm writing this on Deer Creek's page since they're the ones who manage Quail Run from across the street.
First, let me say that I have lived in PLENTY of apartments due to my frequent moves around the country associated with my job. The Quail Run/Deer Creek setup is the best I've lived in without question. Maybe things have changed, there was a lot of turnover in the office management in early 2005 right before I moved out. The building I lived in was fairly quiet, parking was rarely an issue in the front, and the basement parking was fair and rarely did anyone park in someone else's spot. Since I actually lived in two different units in my time, I'm convinced that the 2nd unit I lived in, located above the garage door, had the light above the garage entrance and garage door opener somehow wired into my electricity service. There is no other reason that my power bill in a 2 bedroom in the 8626 Greenway Blvd. building was half of what it was per month in the 8646 Greenway Blvd. building, which was also a 2 bedroom.
Only one time did I have a neighbor noise issue... I called the "after hours" number that I was told to call when I moved in, that person told me to just call the cops. I did, then I complained about the incident to Gallina... then oddly enough there was a new manager in the Deer Creek office the next month (obviously my complaint wouldn't have been enough for her to get ousted)
The grounds were nice looking and well maintained but I was afraid to let my son play on the grass because of all the chemicals that were sprayed on there. There were even tags in the grass with warning labels. Yuck!
The rock quarry that was down the road was a bit of a shocker, certainly nothing was said about it when we moved in, but I guess I woudlnt expect them to. The shaking from it did leave some cracks in the walls and around the window frames which didn't exactly keep the heat in during the Wisconsin winters.
The pool was well maintained and the indoor jacuzzi was a major bonus. Management used to have a mass garage sale style swap and shop in the community room, it was actually a good way to sell a few things.
Maintenance back then was pretty good, I didn't have many issues but the few that I did were dealt with by the next day or two at the most.
As I said before, my job has taken me plenty of places and through plenty of apartments. Quail Run was by far the nicest I've lived in. If it's still the same way, I'd recommend it... and please believe me, I've had plenty to complain about at other apartments.
