I have lived in a one bedroom apartment at the Deer Creek Apartments for two years. My roomate and I were pleased with the apartment and grounds initially. Over the two year span management and staff in general has gone down hill. After moving out, the individual who did the walk through of our apartment, made up incredibly insulting lies. They claim the apartment smelled of pet urine. We could never live in a place that smelled of anything let alone pet urine. They pretty much all but stated it was an all out "Animal House" scene. That is not at all close to the situation. The carpet, after we moved in, had stains coming up left right and center. We had to buy several area rugs to cover the carpet because we did not even want to look at it ourselves. We have always been great tenets and to have our names dragged through their mud so they can keep the stupid deposit is simply repulsive. It is a slap in the face to live there two years and have no problems what so ever, and this is how we are treated after moving out. Several long time tenets we spoke to said they planned on moving out because they were deeply disappointed with the way things were run. I think it is sad in general they do not seem to care they are losing great long term tenets and not really asking why. I would not suggest anyone move in to this complex. There were several garage break ins, and some unsavory individuals have recently moved in. There is a young girl who frequently has young thug like individuals come at all hours of the night and day being quite disturbing. We had to call the police in regards to that twice. This was not looked into by the staff at all, despite the recent garage break ins. It seems great at first, but the long term headache you get in the end is never worth it.
