I don't know what people are talking about when they say this place isn't kid-friendly....we moved in while I was pregnant, and there was a VERY slight smoky smell in our apartment....they put in brand new carpeting for us and even called a different company than they normally use to make sure the carpet glue would be safe for me to smell while pregnant! The management has been nothing but helpful, friendly, and very accomodating.

The apartment is beautiful, while a little costly. You get what you pay for, however. The doors are so thick, you can't hear anything (dishwasher, washing machine) from another room. A shelf on our refridgerator broke, and within hours they had replaced the entire door for us. I can't speak for the old buildings, but the new building has been nothing but a delight to live in, and we're strongly considering moving into a 2bdrm here when our lease is up!
