We have lived here for a few years only because of the good Middleton Schools. Besides that, things have been horrible. It has gotten to the point where we want to leave. When you call about a problem, it is ignored. Also, we don't get a call with a solution! It ranges from mice that Orkin can't take care of because there is too much "furniture", but they tell you to get cats....which they charge you for...Please let them try and charge me for them....also we have to deal with cold ass showers...brrrrrrr....we love those....NOT! When you have to do laundry, you have to hold your breath, from the MOLD, and step over the the nasty slimy water that leaks into the basement from snow or rain! Which, by the way, causes the freaking MOLD! The laundry machines hardly ever work because they are not even maintained by the apt complex because they have a contract with an outside vender...FOREVER! They seem to not care whether they work. Wait...new management....who cares!!!!! They treat you like crap! If you complain, they act like you're the problem! On another note, I can't get heat or air conditioning at a "reasonable amount" in the rear two bedrooms of a three bedroomm apt. They say there is nothing they can do! BS! Basically, not a great place to call your HOME!

You are right on poster. We've been here 8 years, thru so many problems here. It's horrible. We stayed only because of "promises", never kept. New ownership. Bah humbug....just the SOS. I won't detail our experiences now, as I have done so numerously here on this site. We'll be leaving finally when the lease comes up. We have had enough here too. Stay away, this place is a a dump. They rent to whomever waves $$$$$$. The latest news here a couple of guys living here got arrested for setting fires all over Madison. Last summer we had Middleton cops pointing guns up at porch balconies looking for some riff raff. As this poster and I have said, stay away. You'll only be disappointed if you move here. We are ashamed to have company this place is so bad. Very sad it never use to be bad, but years of bad management & staff, maintenance and owners have made it the Middleton ghetto.

I COMPLETELY agree about this place. We live here too and have had nothing but problems with them. The laundry card machine is broken ALL the time, so we can never fill up our card to do laundry and when we do laundry we have to pay 2 times just to dry all out of clothes. We have had mice, which "Orken" came out and took a look at and there was never any solution to the problem. I do have a cat, so they probably just figured it would take care of itself. Also, we got a tow notice and ticket on our car b/c I had to switch cars with my brother and his wife since there's broke and they can't fit 3 car seats in the back of this other car. So now we owe Middleton $30 for some bull ---- and the office should not have the police come out and ticket on a weekend. Aren't we allowed to have guests here? What if I was a guest spending the night at someone's house that's just unfair. And when my boyfriend went to talk to the management there was no answer, just a, "Where is your apartment building and I'm sorry for this issue, we'll get back to you." Hmmmm... Let's see how long that takes... We will NOT be renewing our lease and we don't recommend anyone else to live here ever.
