Springtree is a joke, the staff in the office are rude. They say all the time that they treat everyone the same! B.S. If they do, then they must treat everyone like crap. When I moved, I was told it was a family-friendly community (LIE!). Yes there are kids everywhere and they are all little nightmares with no supervision. Multiple times, I had to intervene while my son was playing outside to keep fights from starting between 5-8 year old kids. When I asked the kids where they lived, most said they lived on the other side of the complex, where are the parents''' Also, conveniently when I was shown the apartment, they failed to show me the basement which turned out to be flooded all the time (I had to jump over puddles with a basket of laundry)and mold and mildew smell filled the hall and my apartment. The basement was also scary, dark corners with a large room in the center with the washers and dryers in it.Maintenance is a joke also, something broke in my apt the first month and they attempted to charge me $50 to fix it. What am I paying rent for' I could have fixed it cheaper. If you are late on rent, it is a ridiculous $40 fee and they will threaten to evict you before even the middle of the month....do not move in here. I paid too much to live in a glorified ghetto. The rent was crazy and they charge you for every last thing that is legal to charge tenants for. They charge a deposit for a cat and then an extra $25 a month to keep it (ripoff). They have buildings designated for dogs which makes no sense. I can still hear the dogs in the other buildings....There are way better deals all over Middleton that would be more affordable and less of a hassle. You will be treated like a low-life here.
