I have lived in other apartments that I thought were terrible, but this one has been the worst so far. Maintenance is slow on all issues, even if it is leaky plumbing. There are a few things on our move-in checklist that they wouldn't even fix: paint THEIR maintenance people got on the carpet, an oven hood that needed to be painted, and a doorframe that was rotting and falling apart to name a few. The lighting at night is terrible. Out of the 15 or so outdoor lights near our apartment, only 2 of them work. My girlfriend feels unsafe and has been accosted twice in the 4 months we have lived here while smoking a cigarette on our very, very small patio slab. I have reported the lights to the main office and still no action has been taken. The parking lots are full of potholes and if you live in certain buildings, you will have to walk a long way to get to your apartment. In addition, the landscaping is very poorly maintained. I have one elderly man taking care of a few of the places where there are flowers, but there are many flower beds that grow just weeds and none of the bushes, even the ones growing right next to the sidewalk, have been trimmed since spring started a few months ago.
To be fair, there are a few things that are nice. A park with a lake is a very short walk down the road, you almost never hear your neighbors, and heat is paid for.
