I have watched this complex go from "ok" to down right gross.

No, it isn't the best Middleton has to offer, but the way things are going, the best thing that could happen, is for the entire property to be leveled.

I feel bad for the people who live there. I have friends who choose Sunrise Heights, because of the location, and that they allow dogs of all sizes, but after their lease is up, they leave. Why' Because when it comes to actually doing what is right, it just doesn't happen.

I have one friend who lived there for years, but after waiting for months and years for repairs and cleaning, was fed up with the lack of professionalism, so he didn't pay his rent. He reported Sunrise Heights to the local building inspector, and it still took months for some of the things that they were cited to repair, to get fixed. And still the place is not what it should or could be.

They evicted him, which he knew would happen, but still couldn't bring himself to pay for the poor quality of everything.

August 2005, he asked for some storm windows and screens to be repaired... and in March 2006, they still hadn't repaired or replaced them. Plus the fact that he has reported to them a number of other things that needed to be repaired or cleaned, and what they have done is pathetic at best.

Just yesterday, we were there to visit some friends, and the manager of the property told him that he was trespassing and called the police on him. I'm not sure how he could be trespassing, as we were invited to come there.

If you are thinking about Sunrise Heights as a place to live, you should think again. But if you do go there, make sure that they show you everything, including the basement and laundry room. And most important, talk with some of the people who do live there, ask them if repairs are done in a timely manner. And do some research on the place, I'm sure you'll find there are better places to choose.
