No, it's true....don't do it!

I am a former 2-year tenant of Sunrise Heights. I loved the location. I loved taking walks around the lake. That's about it. Shortly after we moved in, I found out one of the tenants who I occasionally saw around our building had died in his own apartment. Of course no one would say anything -except the repair guy who didn't care who knew. I should have seen that as an omen. One of the many highlights was discovering -due to the fact that the basement flooded every single time it rained- two perfectly white mushrooms growing out of the floorboards between the wood and the carpeting in the hallway. My immune system seem to crash and I would be constantly sick -something that never happens- with various viruses and colds and such. A couple upstairs was proud to fight and scream and let their 2 year old child wail at 5 am. Cops were called rather regularly. Leaks were common, the toilet almost never worked, repairs/complaints/requests were a joke and almost never taken seriously. It truly was pathetic. And it's too bad. The apartments themselves aren't that bad. But you can do a helluva lot better. Trust me.
