I moved in 2005 in bottom level & things were ok except for the parking. I had good neighbors at first but then the "college students" moved in. This is a income controled apartment complex & the students need to have mom & dad cosign the lease. There were constant parties & loud noise & after 3 months of complaints to office & calling cops 8 times management finally did something about it. In the 3 years I lived there I had 6 different upstairs neighbors & problems with most due to noise like music late, parties, children playing & screaming up till 2-3 A.M. & management not doing much of anything about it.
Parking has been a problem since I moves in & after complaints from residents & petitions to correct it or do assigned parking have been ignored. I have had to park on the street 3 times in the last year even though "resident parking only" signs all over. The caretaker is to be having non-resident cars towed but there are some cars that have not been moved for months & do not have a parking tag on them & even though the office has been notified nothing is done.
The snow maintance is a joke. Any time there has been snow or ice it does not get taken care of for 2-3 days after the weather hit. You have to dig out your own sidewalk & car.
Break-ins have been getting worse over the past few years. My car has been broken into 3 times & the apartment once in the last year.
The interior of the apartment is ok except for the carpet. If you do move in here make sure that the carpet is replaced first because the "cleaning" that is done only lasts a few days. The stains show back up quickly & management could careless because you are already moved in.
Laundry room is a joke. Most of the time some of the washers & dryers are broken & don't work. There are only 8 washers & 8 dryers for 72 apartments & tring to get a open washer or dryer in next to impossible. The dryers are 4 per vent & if more than 2 are used at once it takes 2-4 times rerunning the dryer to get your clothes dry. So be prepared to take your laundry-mat.
