Many of the previous posters' comments are correct. Management can be quite difficult to deal with, get EVERYTHING in writing. When I planned on moving out, Bonnie was extremely difficult and quite rude on the phone. Luckily I received 100% of my deposit.

The building is in poor shape, which is unfortunate since it is such a great location. My appliances were ancient and the apartment was out of date. The common room was REALLY out of date and smelled of smoke. I was stuck in the elevator at least 2 in under 1 year. The first time I was stuck, I went to use the emergency phone and there was no phone at the end of the cord. Lately, there has been a strange crowd hanging out in the lobby and I heard a rumor that someone was threatened in an elevator. I'm not sure I felt safe there at the end of my lease.

The parking lot outside of the building was great--the guys were awesome and even helped shovel my car out of its spot. Whenever the Chalet "deemed" there was a problem, these guys were quick to get it straightened out and never hasseled me.
