When I initially read the comments on this website, I was extremely anxious about renting from this place. "Wow, these people must be real a-holes to inspire such anger." It made me nervous about renting, but I had already put down my deposit. I am very glad I ignored all the angry criticism.

I have loved my stay at the Chalet at the River so far. The spacious lofts are very cool, and I have really enjoyed making the space my own. I have found the staff to be most helpful, and accommodating whenever possible. -----, ------ and -------have all shown themselves to be very interested in making sure that the living experience is a good one.

In response to a couple of the other reviews on this site, I will say that this is not a "plush" building. It is very basic in its exterior amenities. But when I come home from work at the end of the day, I dont really care if there is a nice common room, or how the hallways look, so long as they arent offensive. I care that my apartment is well heated, that there is strong water pressure, that the neighbors keep things to a dull roar, and that I am treated fairly by my landlord. The Chalet is wonderful in all these ways. I have a great view, live downtown, and think this place is great.

Also, if you are looking for a fair, honest opinion of this building, feel free to shoot me an email, Im happy to chat with you, free from ad hominem personal attacks. k6tKKzmJrmATU2ap682S

Yeah, just wait until they try and make you pay for repairs that aren't in any way your responsibility. Or until you don't renew your lease and they do everything possible to keep your security deposit. And also, it's kinda of strange to say that you're opinion would be fair. How are the disgruntled opinions somehow invalid?

Why is an employee writing a review of this place? Did anyone find it strange that in addition to 'Chalet at the River', she also wrote a review of 'Lakeridge at the Moors' in Miami? (another property owned by the management) BTW - all the other reviews of Lakeridge were bad.. but the one from this employee.. Odd, huh? Here you have it: Management will lie and trick you into renting at Chalet at the River !!! (If you don't believe me - google the email address - you'll find confirmation re: this employee's name and 'Lakeridge at the moors'
