The "Chalet" is a complete pile of crap. First of all, it took a few phone calls and threats to receive my full security deposit, they will also try and screw you out of the $90 security deposit for parking (I bet most people forget about it because who changes a security deposit for parking''' What are you doing to do, crack the pavement'). Sketchy.

The space looks very appealing when first checking the units out. Large, high ceilings, dog friendly, etc. However, once you live there for a couple of days and have to listen to every conversation your neighbors are having, techno music all night long, and drug deals going down on your floor, you realize that you were scammed. I would not recommend this complex to anyone! Parking sucks, they will park your car in during evenings and you have to wait for them to move the car for you to get out. Also, they will occasionally not get the keys for the car that parks you in and you will have to wait an hour for a tow truck! Sketchy.

You will also be required to leave a set of keys for the staff and they will move your care regularly, the staff is far from trustworthy and your car is rarely parked where you left it the night before. Sketchy.

All the businesses in the entire building is empty, in fact the only successful business, King and I, moved next door, just so they could avoid this lousy landlord. How can almost 10 units reserved for business sit empty for years' Sketchy.

Oh, and you cannot leave your laundry, people will steal it. I caught someone digging through my clothes in the washer with a handful of stuff. Sketchy.

YOU CAN FIND A BETTER APARTMENT DOWNTOWN, DO NOT SETTLE ON THIS!

im not saying this person didnt have a bad experience... but: i got my parking deposit (its in case you damage something with your car) never once was i parked in by a car they didnt have keys for. never once did i see this happen. never once did i see a tow truck called for anything like this. your car is moved if you park behind someone else. never once did my car get moved if it was the first one in a spot. nor my gf's. i agree that the business spaces should be filled. never had any laundry problems. gf never had any laundry problems. no one i spoke with ever had any laundry problems. this sounds like someone with an agenda...

If you don't like the parking situation, there are plenty of lots around the building that cost the same. My laundry has never been stolen or tampered with, and I very rarely, if ever hear my neighbors. Sketchy huh...

i agree w/ what the two responded with. i have never had my car moved if i was the one in first. i have also never had an issue with my laundry. no matter where you live, what apartment building, there are going to be times when you hear those around you.
