We currently live at the Chalet.
There is a previous post that had some of my issues listed, and some ugly things were said. This was not a post written by me.
This is my personal review.
We had one prior problem with the management and that was soley due to the the post that was posted by someone else but was so specific it was horrifying to me.
Now here are my thoughts.
Parking is ok. I have great stories about the attendants, including one where the furnished me with my spare key after I lost my original. This allowed me to get a copy without having the car towed AND saved me literally hundreds of dollars. If my car is moved by the staff I believe it is always treated with respect as I have never had an issue with it.
Connie, friendly, funny, easy to talk to and really goes to bat for you
Bonnie, is a lot like me. but all in all a good landlord.
Frank, actually fixes things AND loves dogs.
Dennis, Thank you for finding my spare key.

The small convience store in the basement is a great plus
The large, open apts are super roomy.
They are pet friendly
I NEVER hear my neighbors.

The downfalls
I had to buy an airconditioner but I am allowed to take it with me
The windows :( they are a little hard to open and close but it is an old building so you have to take the good with the bad.
A lot of tennants have complained about the dumpsters...yes they do dump early in the morning and it is loud. I consider this, we live in an urban area there are literally 2 resturants who access the same alley where our dumpsters are. I'd rather hear noise of emptying dumpsters than the rodent problem there would be if they never got emptied. So let be for real, that noise is worth it and believe it or not after about a year I don't ever hear them anymore, I sleep right through it and they are below my window.

all in all friendly staff, friendly eclectic tennants, clean open apts and pet friendly.

I am done, I feel better as this is the truth and it came from me

This is 'classic Bonnie' right here! She has an attorney on retainer... so if you say/do something she doesn't like, she'll threaten you with her attorney. Probem is, you can't take her to court! If you look at PUBLIC RECORDS, you'll see that she has contributed to ALL of their election campaigns.. and knows them on a first-name basis. She's a smart woman. Conniving, unethical and mean.. but smart. Laura - I'm so sorry you had to deal with this..

Sorry I had to deal with what? I thought I made it quite clear we were happy here. We love the apt, the staff is fine and the tennats we love. We're staying for at least 2-3 more years. laura.c
