The property is about 40 years old, and needs overhaul. Work is being done piecemeal. Aside from regular apartment rehabs and plumbing repairs, major systems have to be fixed regularly. Like elevators (not good, in an 11-story building). The result is constant pounding, drilling and sawing. A recent "classic" was repair of the Cingular cell system on the roof. Between 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m.! Not recommended until all the stuff that needs to be updated gets updated - check back in a few months.
