My husband and I and our two children have lived in one of the 3-bedroom townhouses for seven years. It faces the lake and is absolutely an adorable home and that is why we will not move. But the complex replaced their Property Management company with a new one last summer and many changes were made. Some good, some bad.

For instance: they rebuilt the deck in the back and the steps and it looks great. However, they 'fixed' the patio outdoor light so that it remains on blazing away all night long. Today I was told that they are going to do the same thing with our porch light. Well this upsets me because I USED to like to sit out there on a summer night, by CANDLELIGHT, and play the guitar. So there goes one of my most cherished past-times and I think it is a violation of our privacy. If they are concerned about safety then they should consider instead hiring more security people. Also there is a light less than 7 yards from each porch, on the garage. So why do that to us. They should reconsider this change, big-time. None of my neighbors are happy about it.

However, on the positive note, the maintenance here is great. They usually come the same day and always fix it on the first visit. The management is good and has painted my apartment and cleaned the carpet every year that I've asked for it.

Also on the plus side is the beautiful indoor pool, hot tub, sauna and two gyms. The pool area has a huge vaulted cathedral ceiling and is completely done in redwood. When my daughters and I are there we are always the only ones there and we feel luxurious. So that is nice.

You win some, you lose some just like anywhere I suppose, but I feel we get probably more than we are paying for in the way of value living.
