I moved to Milwaukee about 5 months ago due to the relocation of my job. This place was near to my work, and the apartment complex looked so appealing with the lake, and all those greenaries, next to the Shopping malls..and rent was not bad either...However, after moving here I realized that it is not a place one should live in...

First of all, my apartment had ants all over..I complained, and in the beginning they came and sprayed right away. Within two weeks my apartment was again full with ants...I called them 4 times, and talked to 4 different people, all of them promised to have it sprayed...but never happened. Manager is not available once they know you were there to complain...I have also seen 2 cockroaches so far...This is completely unacceptable...

Yeah!..that lake do look pretty from outside...and there is a nice jogging-pathway too...but you will only know when you get there, that it is all full with Duck-and-dog-shits, and lake-water is so filthy...Looks like they haven't cleaned it for ages...You will not be able to stand there for more than 5-10 minutes in evenings due to mosquitoes-attack...

Most important question...Have I ever felt safe here'...No Way!...I try not to go out during the evenings...this whole area is not a good place to be at. The mall is pretty much dead, and I really feel scared to go around there alone after the sunset..I was told that The Two big red buildings next to the Harbor Pointe are "project house"...

So, if you are looking for apartments..Not just this Harbor Pointe, but do not live in this whole are...I would suggest you to try "Menominee Falls", "German Town", or "Mequon" if you really have to live around here....

I am just looking forward for this contract to be over...
