I used to work here and I lived here

Hi Guys,

I used to work at this place and let me tell you a couple things. One is, if you see some good reviews on here, be careful- the management may have had their employees write it! Second, if you see multiple bad things on here that are sort of similar, beware- a disgruntled employee may have written it!

I will be as honest as I can be:
The management is not loyal at all. There were people living here (For example---------------) who has lived here since the apartments opened in like 1976. Last year, -----the VP, decided to up all those people's rent that had been living there so long to market rate rent. Now, these are people that had paid well over the amount they would have paid to own a home and some. In my opinion, one should receive a discount for being that loyal to a company. We had over 20 residents coming in with their lease renewal letters saying "Hey, why is my rent going up a 100 (150) dollars a month'"

Second, there are kids in the street alot of the time. The management tries to send letters when it can, but the only real thing you can do is call the cops when kids are all outside in the road. Once the police arrive, residents get worried when it is just a bunch of kids outside in the road (if the police were called ever).

Third, the maintenance is very well done. All the maintenance guys that were there when I worked there were very nice and on top of things.

Make sure you don't get screwed out of a good price, they do have a lot of specials which they suspend for a couple weeks or a month and then when you move in it is going on (for example you sign your lease in May, but move in June).

PS Summer 2007 there was a thief making people at gunpoint go to an atm and withdraw funds for him. He was preying on people in the street or walkways here. He was caught partly due to help from me since he tried to approach me (he was only attacking people who turned to him when he called). The management worked the police however they could when this situation was going on. These things happen depending on which area you live in. vWhRVi5nYYIuEh4W7K3l
