This place used to be great, but a new regime and staff has turned this into a prison camp.Your deposit is as good as gone before you even move in as they will find something in the fine print to hang you on when you leave.For example cleaning the outside of your windows on the fifth floor, but the rules state you cant take apart the windows , you just cant win here. Parking is a joke triple the cars and residents then parking spaces the lots around will tow no questions asked.Residents themselves are cool but management and employees are constantly lurking and spying is like big brother always watching , it just does not seem comfortable. 2 elavators at times both will be out of order. The maintanance staff is creepy you dont want them in your unit touching anything. Every tenant door get bombarded with flyers stating constant rule changes and the following day they use spell check and re-issue it. Disregard anything they say verbally as it almost feels like they are purposly trying to set you up for any type of fee or penalty they can. I have been living in my Himount gardens apartment since March 2008 and am still currently living here. I love my studio and have always found the staff helpful and great. My building is very nice to live in since there is rarely any noise that needs to be complained about. Even though I live in a studio, it's a big studio for my husband and I and because we love the vintage style of Himount gardens and we feel comfortable in our apartment building, we are even thinking of upgrading to a one bedroom apartment. It is true that it lacks more efficient parking space but it also offers garage space at a very reasonable price. The laundry room has four washers and two driers and there has been very rare occasions when I would have to wait to do my laundry, but that was due to lack of planning on my part. I have highly recommended my loved ones the apartments of Himount Gardens because I myself love living here. Management is also a pleasure to talk to and always ready to help. Something that I have had a hard time finding in other places.
