Historic Fifth Ward Lofts

 

I moved into the 5th ward lofts because I needed some where to move quickly.

I HATE IT MORE THAN ANYTHING!!! The managers downstairs are CRAZY and never return phone calls.

Maintenance takes about a week to fix anything.Parking is a disaster, and peoples cars get vandalized not only outside every day but INSIDE the parking garage.

Kids park like idiots so no one can get out of the garage in the morning because they have been parked in.

The floors are so thin that not only can you hear the people above you, but you can hear the people below you even when they're talking normally.

Drunk kids coming in at all hours of the night pulling the fire alarms is a regular occurance.

The neighbors always have like 18 family members over and ALL of their children so noise is a huge problem.

The train tracks go right behind the apartment so it is difficult to sleep at night, as well as people coming and going at all hours of the night.

The police are called frequently, you can always hear them banging on different peoples doors and people getting arrested.

People leave beer bottles in the lobby and garbage everywhere.

The elevators are always broken, and for MONTHS we only had one.

It bounces like a rubber band when you get in and out of it, and I have gotten stuck in it several times.

Overall I would highly NOT recomend this place.

It is dirty, the people are nasty, and the management is the worst of anywhere I have ever lived.
