Apartments are Great; Management is Not

First of all, the apartments are great. The fifeen foot ceilings and exposed brick are unique. It is, however, evident that they were constructed as cheaply as possible because objects can be felt under the carpet, the carpet is cheap, and the walls are thin. The worst aspect of the apartments is the management. They are generally unhelpful with everything, including mainentece requests and letting residents know they have a USPS package in the office. Lately, it the manager seems to set her own hours and is impossible to get a hold of. It is clear that they only care to get new residents and not take care of ones who currently live there.

I totally agree with you. I don't live here but went in to look around. Right when I walked in some kid was sitting at the main desk cussing at someone on his cell phone and the two apartment managers were just sitting at their desk chatting up a storm not even acknowledging me nor the the kid on his cell. When one of the women showed me the apartment; she knew nothing about it nor the buliding itself. She looked ghetto and dressed unprofessional. And although they had this huge sign in front saying leasing multiple apartments I was told only one was available. But I think she was just lazy to show me the others. The elevator floor had carpet with stains all over it and it smelled so gross we took the stairs back down. The main manager did not at all look interested in helping me. To be honest I would rather rent from schuster's loft because although its in a bad area the manager Krystal was nice, showed me several apartments, and answered all my questions. She even let me talk to random residents that I chose to ask about the apartments. The building its self was surprisingly clean and very quite. The apartment are way more affordable and have more footage than the factory lofts. It felt very secure and safe.
