The bad parts of this apartment are parking and safety.
I was on a waiting list for parking for approximately 5 month, and the parking that finally came available was a block away and $70/mth. In other large buildings I have been looking at ONSITE outdoor parking is $50/mth! Over those months I had to park wherever I could find a space. Anyone who knows the Eastside knows how frustrating that can be. The one good thing is that there is a loading zone in front of the building.
Safety:
There is a buzzer/intercom system and a channel on the tv with real time surveillance that is very nice. The added effort is definitely there to make residents feel safe, however, there is a bench in the lobby. On many (more than a few) times this winter/spring I have come into my building in the morning to find a homeless man sleeping on the bench. It also seems to be a haven for drunk people to spill their drinks on the floor or repeatedly press the buzzer buttons at 3am.
Overall, you get a lot of things for the money in the apartment but the safety issue has me at my wits end. I've never been approached but it makes me feel uneasy.
