I have lived in the Landmark for over a year now. At first I thought it was the best deal in Milwaukee given the nice amenities included in the rental price. However, new management staff was recently brought in to "tighten the ship." Since then, the overall atmosphere of the complex has greatly deteriorated. The management staff is difficult to work with and shows a blantant disregard for the interests of its residents. In addition, since this management change, several well-liked and great employees have left the complex, leaving a less-friendly and less-open culture in the building. (The front desk staff has been and remains some of the best people, however.) At this point in time, I would recommend to anyone looking for a luxury apartment complex to look elsewhere. Ridiculous fees and uncooperative management staff makes the Landmark an undesirable environment in which to live. There are numerous luxury apartment complexes in downtown Milwaukee, and I have to believe that there is a better place to live than the Landmark. Good luck to those searching and please heed this advice to look beyond Landmark on the Lake.
