Great Eastside Apartment

Were it not for reading the other posts on this site, I don't think I'd have anything to say.

I really don't have anything to complain about, and evidently that's about as good of a compliment as you can give your landlord.
The only thing I can really complain about is the location.

The east-side is fun and convenient, but also hectic.

Parking is a nightmare (same everywhere in that area).

We had the first floor apartment right on the street, so there were crazy drunk people in the street and people smoking outside our window late at night on the weekends.

I guess that goes with the territory though.
There were plenty of upsides, though.

The building is old, but has lots of character and is well kept up.

We never had any issues with neighbors and couldn't hear anything through the ceiling.
The management was great.

I once forgot to pay until the 6th or 7th and got a late fee, but as soon as I called the office, they "forgave" it.

When we moved out, our manager was very accomodating, didn't try to rip us off over "damages", and even refunded us 3 days rent (the gesture was more significant than the $$$) since we moved out 3 days early.
I would definitely recommend it.
