There is nothing good about this place. My fiance and i, now married, decided to stay here because it was the cheapest place on this side of town. We were both college students on a limited budget. Here are the problems we have had.

1.You may wake up to go to work and find out the water has been turned off with no notice. When we called to ask what happened we were told, maintence. It should be back on by the end of the day. How was i to take a shower for work' Answer: Buy some bottled water and heat it on the stove. Yes they said that.
2.You will not receive your packages/mail if it doesn't fit in the micro mailbox. The office staff will not notify you. Had a package sit there for 3 weeks.
3.If you like kids running up and down the hallway. Then this place is for you.
4.If you do not mind getting a contact high, marijuana, then this place is for you.
5.If you do not mind your car getting broken into, then this place is for you.
6.If you mind being without a stove for 1.5weeks, then this place is for you. (When i called about this and said i needed a new stove because the pilot went out. I was told gas stoves don't have pilots. huh' and she didn't believe me) When maintence finally came(4 days later) he was like we need to call in the "professionals". They showed up 1 week later. The "professionals" was like you need a pilot. So if you do not mind your every word being questioned. C'mon and rent here.
7.If you do not mind maintence people walking in on your apartment after only 1 knock, then come on and rent at Parkview.
8. If you can wait 2.5 months for a carpet replacement. Then c'mon down.
9. You can hear everything above and below you. The first couple of days here the people upstairs were banging on the floor because my husband had the tv on in the living room. It wasn't that loud. But it was magnified due to the poor construction. This place is old and the hallways smell. It wasn't like this when we toured the place before we made our decision to stay here.
This place is terrible. Unfortunately, it was all my husband and i could afford as full-time students. Thank God, i graduated and have a job. We are moving ASAP.

If you want anything done skip the office people and call downtown to Metropolitan Associates. Believe me i have them on speed-dial. Crystal(Assistant Manager) is a Work-In-Progress.

Run Don't walk away from Parkview Apartments!

oh yeah...make sure you keep your lease. The lease i received said our lease was up at the end of August...downtown had end of October. And do not expect your deposit back. They will come up with all sorts of reasons why you do not get it back. Overcharging for things. Just stay away!
