Worst place I have ever rented!

I moved into this place in May of 07 and had to contact the District Manager already to get out of my lease. Upon moving in we had a few small things that needed to be fixed. We complained about the dryer and they told us we were putting too much in it. Well, I didn't see a problem with 3-4 pair of jeans... but the drier has to be run 2-3 times to dry properly and it stinks, literly. A piece of our railing on the bacany was broke, not good w/ a 2 year old child. So, a with in the first month our electricity was shut off. I asked management when I signed the lease if I would have to call the WE and she told me no, they took care of it all. Well, they didn't and because of the previous owner and management, my electricity was shut off for an entire day, only to take a 4 hour call with WE to get it back on LATE that night. So, all was well after that besides our fire alarm with no glass, our dryer not working well, the AC hardly cooling worth a crap and our still broken railing. 2 months later we notices a fiece of furnature was soaked. Well, the ceiling started leaking! Now I believe what I read about the walls turning black, most likely from mold. The ceiling leaked all over a very expensive chair and also my desk top computer! We called emergency maintanance, he didn't even come to look at it and simply said to put a bucket under it. About a week later, the dry wall started falling down. Well, about 5-6 weeks later...thats still not even fixed yet and still have the occasional leak and my cooler sitting on the floor to catch the water. Only at this time, did we contact the regional Manager and miracously, our fire alarm and railing got fixed! (but still not the leak) She had told me all this wasn't enough to let us out of the lease. I told her thats fine, and to get one of the Wimmer brothers on the phone. She called me back the next day and allowed us out of the lease. I didn't tell my neighbors about the leak, but they need to know and will get a copy of this review. They just raised rent again now too.
One more complaint they don't have any control over is the HORRIBLE mosquitos. I have to bring a towel out with me to swat them all away from my car before entering, and away from my door before coming into the apartment! Even still you still get at least 20 in the apartment when you open the door! Ask any one here and I guarantee they all have the mosquito problem! We have to sleep w/ our bed room door closed so the mosquitos that got in don't eat us alive while we are laying down. I wouldn't move here again if rent was $600 a month, let alone the new $945!
Oh yeah, and who can forget the insane energy bills here! Our electricity w/o AC was $90, now with the AC it's $145!! I don't even want to know what it's like in the winter with electric heat!
Do your self a favor and stay out of this place!!!
