I've been living at Rivershire since early May of '09 and I'm quite pleased with my choice to rent here. Community seems quite kid-friendly overall, with the exception of 1 of my tenants who literally called West Allis police on my 9 and 12 yr old for playing football at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday because the noise bothered him. Mosquitos are HORRIBLE in summer, but neighborhood seems very quiet and safe. Washer/dryer nothing to brag about--need to run dryer for 2 hours to dry 1 load. Maintenance seems to come out quickly for repairs. May not fix correctly on the spot, but the effort is there. Garages are too small for large SUV. Not much in way of storage space. Rooms are generous in size. In all the places I looked to rent, this location seemed priced well for location and unit size (I took a lower unit North of Morgan Avenue). Almost like this location better than the newer section as there is more room for kids to play and more room for visitor parking.
