If you don't enjoy fighting with neighbors over parking spaces, listening to the guy next door sing in the shower, and making weekly maintenance calls... this might not be the place for you. But if you decide you are up for the challenge...make sure to get a filter for the disgusting water and a couple of buckets for your leaky ceiling.

Hmm. gina6178, could you possibly be Gina-the manager? Maybe if mgmt would take more responsibility when issues are being reported instead of just delegating it elsewhere, there would be better reviews. Neither Southgate nor Metropolitan Associates care about what kind of people live here as long as they get their $. They're on their way to becoming the first Projects in the Suburbs, because all the considerate tennants are moving out. Besides the birds cackling, stereo pounding and kids running around, somebody got a karaoke machine for Christmas and now believe they're the next Enrique Iglesias at eleven, twelve o'clock at night when they're obviously drunk. Doesn't matter that the police have been here before...the mgmt doesn't care...so why should they?
