I first moved in here , It was almost like a nightmare _And Never Stopped . Now I lost my Beautiful Car ' That I saved Years to Get . It only had 23000 miles . This Place Broke Me , And took joy 'An All the Stress . Your Car if Move Here will likely be broken in-to. You Would Not believe how Horrible unless it happened to You.
There is a History of Cars being Broken in- to at Southgate , Yet they offer no kind of security' To make their residents feel safe . I ask You ' How would You feel if Your car was stolen right outside your Door to where your apartment was ' I could even see my Car from the Patio Door . Sure It's not Management's fault RIGHT yet they knew about the history ' Tell You what ' That's the Same as having a Rapist living in the community ' As victim's continue to get Raped ' They refuse to inform so they can Continue to rent their units .However Southgate Apartment does Not put a Sign up saying please Steal our residents Car's .
I also could have taken more precaution myself by having a Club on the vehicle . UPDATE : I'm Crazy , But I need a car due to health reasons ' Bought another . Tim the maintenance Man Just Gave me a Gift of a Club for my New Car . The office Staff have also been kind as they seem to understand how upset I was, And Give me another Parking permit free of charge an their was suppose to be a $25.00 Charge . That was very Kind of Them . I'm trying to look at the Positive .Hey everyone I have a New lawyer Since I have to sue The pain clinic that caused Nerve Damage to my spine.
Isn't that wonderful' I'm sure He take all my other cases as well ' Must check. I would have loved living Here ,But I only lost my Car, My money , My health , And my Mind since I moved here . That is all 'So everything is Fine.
P.M.S _I dislike PEOPLE THAT GO BY Anonymous , WHAT ARE YOU HIDING' AT LEAST I HAVE THE Guts TO SAY WHO THE HELL_ I_ IS sorry JUST Ghetto TALK here' TRYING TO FIT IN ........In my opinion they do have a Great maintenance team .I have only been in the Emergency Room Seven Times in March alone , And I have received Noticed to Clean Up my Patio With -in One Week.
All I received is complement's , Yet they tell me their have been many complaint's , I Say the one's that do are jealous ' I wonder who's ordering the removal of the child Mattress laying in the middle of the Street by one of the apartments , Or If Their ever Going to Fixed the Building Light in the Parking area At 3140 So it will be safer at night , And They May Stop braking into Our Cars .Instead they harass a Sick Man Likely for writing comments on this Web page To start with_It won't be long Now,Thank God it's only a Short trip to the Grave' as It's Right across the street ______I can't Help it ' I like Most of The office Staff

I had a horrible experience living in these apartments but nothing could prepare me for moving out. Thankfully I found an apartment that was super understanding and let me move in a week early so I could have plenty of time to move out of the ridiculous Southgate. While my family was helping me move, the people in the apartments around us were watching us like prime time tv. I was afraid to leave the apartment open and unattended while we were taking trips to the car like we were constantly being cased. I spent hours making sure everything was vaccummed and dusted and looked great. A month later when I finally received my security deposit I had over $200 dollars deducted for small dirt spot on carpet and stains that said on my letter were previous conditions but I got charged for them anyways. Then it says you have a short period of time to contest their deductions or you have no case. After all my horrible experiences I just wanted to be done and never speak to Metropolitian Assocs ever again, which is probably what they are hoping for. The little bit of dirt by the door was from shoes in the winter and would come right out with any carpet cleaning which they have to do before a new tenant can move in anyways. I knew going into living there that apartments would be noisy and you have to deal with neighbors but what goes on there is absolutely unbelieveble. Where I live now I pay less in rent, have two parking spaces for a one bedroom, have no issues with noise, have tons of clean green space, and can go for a run without a rape whistle. I have friends who still live at Southgate who have to constantly monitor their parking spots so they can park in their own spots at night. I had one issue in my new apartments and the property manager had it taken care of in an hour. The fact that I have been moved out for 3 months and I still have anger about my experience at Southgate tells you how much I regret choosing to move there. Don't make the same mistake I did. Keep looking, they might seem ok for the price but you will regret it!!!

The police departments from both Milwaukee and Greenfield have some long lists of vehicular theft and damages which occurred at the apartment complex. Their lists should not by any means be considered conclusive, as many tenants with uninsured or older cars are too despondent to report the crime after paying for (yet another) car window replacement.

It is also unfortunate that not all victims have access to the Internet . I feel that Soutgate needs to take some measure by Sending out Notices to it's residents informing them to protect their property . So far I have only heard from three people , Please Email me at slies@sbcglobal.net So we can prevent , and Save others from this kind of devastation .

whatever Gina, Southgate and you are very very bad even when you cheap rich corporation gave a person another parking place for free, wow you just bought a woman for $25. What a naive person, but not all are the same. THIS COMPLEX IS STILL A GETHO HELL!

southgate is the worst!! i just moved out and am very, very happy. but now they are taking 200.00 from my security deposit because of a stain on the carpet that was there when i moved in and i showed the stain to them! i totally agree, this place is a nasty greedy corporation. i cannot belive i lived there as long as i did. anybody who is thinking about moving to southgate, DON'T DO IT!!!!!

Hello, i wold like to know the name of your new apartment. they seem pretty cool where you are. I have a five year old and feel discriminated alot because I have a child and that must automatically mean something bad. so yea, i would appreciate that. thanks.
