I lived at St. James for eight years. There's something to be said for that. While it's not the cheapest place to live, it can be worthwhile if you use what they have to offer: The pool, tanning bed, workout room, racquetball court, volleyball leagues, whirlpool, etc. The staff is very helpful and maintenance requests are taken care of promptly. There are great views and plenty of open space.

On a negative note: The construction of the units is rather poor: walls are thin and not well insulated at all. The apartments are freezing in the winter, and rather drafty.
