I lived there for 18 months too long! It is a nice place to live, reasonably priced for what you get, however take note to the following.
*It is in a nice woodsie/marshland, watch out for deer running in front of your car and the bugs (silverfish, spiders, crickets, and mice)
*In the middle of nowhere. Yes it is in Milwaukee, but on the edge, surrounded by nothing. It is a 10/15 minute drive to anywhere worth going to. Unless you want to drive 5 minutes into a bad area where I would not go at night alone.
*Get a garage, or your car will be broken into. This is right next to a bad area.
*Lots of police live in the complex, but I don't think it makes the difference that management brags about.
*Pet friendly, if you like hearing large dogs bark b/c they are stuck in tiny apartments all day and night. If you go for a walk watch out for the poop. And lots of dogs/people have been attacked by the dogs.
*The fitness club is nice, but crowded and does not have an elliptical machine. Loved the indoor jacuzzi though! The pool is tiny but nice.
*The walls are thin. If you live on the first floor you can hear every step someone makes above you.
*Strange old men that stare and watch everything are always around.
*The bathrooms are carpeted. Gross!
*Kitchens were very nice, good appliances. Average counterspace. Linoleum was peeling off. Cabinets are very cheap.
*Full size washer/dryer in unit, was AWESOME!
*Maintenance was always done that day or ASAP. And it usually was done well, except for one incident which was not a big deal.
*The staff was very friendly and sincere, I enjoyed talking with them. And they tried to help me although they did stick to the Lease very strictly.
