Think twice

Neighborhood is VERY sketchy. I had my car broken into and so did my neighbor. He indicated it was his third time.
With 6 weeks left on my lease I was contacted about my plans. I told them I planned to move out and asked about what kind of notice was required. I was told none, becasue vacancy was up and thre was plenty of space. They asked I just try to let them know as soon as my plans were in place. I called with 2 weeks left on my lease to let them know I would be leaving and was told 30 days was required and that I would be charged for the additional month.
I had a constant wasp problem in my apartment. This lasted until late October.
The kitched sink is literally 9 inches deep so you cannot even fill a pot without using a transfer vessel.
The carpeting had several large stains on it and when I brought it to their attention it was noted that "you will not have to pay for that when you move out." I asked if I could perhaps get new carpeting since they were bad stains and was told "this is new carpeting." I added one stain of my own and will no doubt have to pay out of my security deposit, though in fairness, this is speculation.
Overall, it looks nice from the outside but the upon examination of the details it is very shoddy. Small sinks and toilets, thin walls, corners cut everywhere.
To talk to the positives, the clubhouse / pool / workout room are very nice.
