Dont move here!

This apartment & staffs appearance is a far cry from what it would be like once you moved in. Let's start with the staff. VERY VERY friendly and helpful when they are telling you about the move in specials and various apartments. However, once you move in, it's a different story. If something needs to be fixed in the apt, expect a half job. And if they tell you that you will be getting a new front door because the old ones are falling apart, DONT BUY IT! Please expect your heating bills to be astronomical. The windows in the apt are not insulated and the hallway by your door doesn't even allow the snow to melt off of your shoes. Because of the poor infrastructure, expect to hear your neighbor's music, conversations, and to say it nicely, nighttime activities! Let??s move on. I believe the saying is "bad things happen to good people". Please don??t EVER be late on your rent payment. "Earthquakes don??t count". Even the most efficient person can have a forgetful month. I was late on my rent payment ONE TIME by ONE DAY and was charge $196 concession fee (that was definitely never mentioned upon move in) and of course there standard late fees. Oh and your personal checks are no longer good there. You are then required to pay by money order! I have lived in my share of complexes but this is absurd. My goal here would be to warn anyone considering this place to not only read the fine print but do your homework. I wish I had done so before ever putting my name on the dotted line.

All of this is very true! The apartments are drafty and cold and heating bills astronomical. The construction is so poor that you hear every step your neighbor above you makes(never rent a lower here!!). The floor creaks with every step and it makes "quiet enjoyment" of your apartment impossible. They completely changed the staff in the last year and keep on making changes and that completely changed the atmosphere of the place. It used to be a friendly nice place to live but now it is very impersonal. They constantly forget to tell me when packages arrive and then can't find them when I do go to pick them up. The pool has several feet of filthy water in it and nothing is being done to get it ready to open. Last year it was ready in April so I really don't see why they can't do it. They haven't even put out any chaise lounges, of course, who would want to sit by an ugly stinky pool. I was forced to pay by money order after they lost my check somehow. And they hassled me by calling me at work about not paying. Right! I've paid promptly every month for 4 years. THEY lost the check. And I suffered. Needless to say I'm moving out when my lease is up. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's overpriced, understaffed and really going down hill fast. Oh, and they changed the dog policy without ever telling anyone(except a mention in the monthly newsletter to remember that that your dog must be smaller than 35 lbs). Lucky for me my dog died, as he was much heavier and I guess we would have been forced out.

Agree 100%. I used to live there and it was a great place when I moved in, but they got a new general manager who basically got rid of all of the existing staff. The replacements just don't give the same kind of service.

Nice complex in some ways, and it probably could be a great place to live again under better management.

Is there any places in town that actually get a good review? I'm moving from out of state and every review I've read is a bad one!

I think it's safe to say that honey79 works for the apartment complex which is another reason you wouldn't want to live here if the management acts like raving lunatics.

No I don't work here! But your name sounds familiar. Are you Mickey that used to work here? So glad to see you gone!

Im supposed to be signing a lease within the next week. How high are the heating bills? i need an example. And so far the staff seems really nice! i would be living on the 2nd floor. I just want to be sure im making the right decision.
