I just moved from a 100 yr old college place located on the busiest corner on the eastside to here. My apartment is very nice.
As others have said, the walls are not the thickest but I guess most people here haven't lived in new apartments before. they are all thin.
Also, don't get the internet service there. it really goes down all the time BUT I did get reimbursed. now i went back to RR.
Again, I don't know where these people are currently living but i'll take parking my car on the streets over there than on the eastside. I had my car broken into twice and twice the side mirror busted off and that doesn't include the scratches and dents from drunks. Underground parking is way way overpriced but still is better than not even having an option.
Everything was new when I moved in so I didn't have any maintenance issues.

"There," I had a hard time following your review. Are you saying that your car was broke into twice at this property or at your previous property? Every other review here talks about broken car windows being the norm on the streets. Do you have the underground parking or do you park on the street?

Hi, I think I might have moved into your empty 100 year old apartment on the east side when I left the Teweles Seed disaster. I can't say I miss it. Last weekend, I moved out, and I was one of six people fighting for the elevator. We were all moving out. It was like the last days at the dorms with thrown away furniture and junk all over the place. We all seemed to have the same stories and the same frustrations. I was told that the property is up for sale because it's not making any money!

I think all the unhappy people just moved out. There has not been much talk on here, good or bad for almost 2 months. I am still not sure I would live here, though.

What i am saying is the crime is a ton worse than over hear. I currently have underground parking but even when I did park on the street all I worried about was parking.

I am so glad they finally started cracking down on the front door being propped open all the dang time. It was really scary to come home at 2, 3 in the morning and find the front door wide open or unlocked. Especially with no security. Just about anyone could wander through the whole building for awhile, at any hour of the day.

The door is always open now so things must be back to how it was in the past. I was told to lock it when I saw it open. I guess I don't see why this is left to me and neighbors to take care of. Why this place does not have security is a big mystery to everyone I talk to. The problems were obvious the first weekend I lived here. How has this gone two years not dealt with.
