Well I am a former resident and I had some problems with the air conditioner and fighting continuiously with the managers at the office was a big issue. The toilet would leak and leak water all over the bathroom until the office did something about the pluming outside the building. Well also during the winter months the heat and the cold get to the outdoor patio windows. The plowing company is very slow I would recommend moving into summit lake for a better maintence crew. We wanted a bigger and nicer apartment and well it took for ever to get into but we finally got this other place and moved into it and well the maintence started to get a lot better we lived upstairs the 1st time and well it was a haul to get heavy items up the stairs such as tv's and also hospital beds. Well after we moved out the garage we got was nice still same as our other one, but still the garages could be built better and cleaner before you move in. Still its a garage but the cold weather gets inside the apartment and to the windows so its a bit of an issue but the air conditioned systems in those apartments aren't effienct enough to cool down the whole place unless you really want to sleep in the living room the whole summer long. Otherwise its not bad living next to the cop shop its still quiet and the neighbors around you are very quiet though. The area is quiet also its a great place to move into the neighbors are so nice and talkative.

I too am a former resident. I lived there for 8 years! When I first moved in it was wonderful - well cared for, good maintenance, responsive, clean. Then the owners sold. So we no longer had on-site ownership and management. With that came the problems. Slow response times, a lack of interest in "minor" maintenace issues, greater emphasis on curb appeal but less on renters satisfaction, etc. Interior walls are plenty thick and usually pretty sound proof, but between floors - forget it! You could hear EVERY step from the apartment above. Even normal walking! And window a/c units? Give me a break! You freeze in the living room and feel nothing back in the bedrooms. Anyway, it is what it is. A large multi-family housing unit. Don't expect the Taj Mahal.
