I chose to live here for three years because I really wanted a larger dog and they were the only place in the area that would allow them. When I first moved in the place was not very welcoming very 70's outdated filthy my mother and I spent all day cleaning and scrubing and then painted which helped tremendously. There is only a through the wall air conditioner that sprayed water out of it and a fridge that was very leaky and the heat well if you wanted to be comfortable your electric bill was through the roof like 380 at one point. Every month at least once sometimes 2-3 times a month there were always people that had to come throught and check things out in the apt, or you couldnt use your water or flush the toilets for the day cause they were always flushing the wells. They only have year leases. They say they offer a 6 month lease but that puts most people in the winter months which they do not allow. So if your like us we found a house and still had to pay rent for 6 months ontop of it and they say they tried to rent it...-------- they were getting free money. Then when I moved out i didn't get a single penny back from my $700 security deposit when I paid someone to come and repaint the walls and clean...I got a letter saying stuff wasn't cleaned and that they had to replace things....when that apartment looked 100 times better then it did when i moved in. There was never anywhere to park I would end up on the street and have to walk to my apartment. Nothing was convenient if you wanted any fast food you had to drive to oconomowoc which is a 10-15 min drive and is all under construction. Same with the grocery store and gast station....there is not one thing right next to you execpt an ugly car dealer. So I would not recommend this apartment to anyone that wants hassle free relaxing living.
